The remarkable journey of one of our owners and head chef, Patchara, affectionately known as Annie among friends, began over 30 years ago when she started learning the art of traditional Thai cuisine from her grandmother in the vibrant Loei province, nestled in the northeast of Thailand near Wang Saphung.
Before bringing her culinary expertise to Colorado, Annie owned and operated her own restaurant in Khon Kaen for an impressive 5 years. Her culinary adventures also took her to Shanghai, where she immersed herself in the traditions of a family-owned restaurant, gaining valuable insights and skills. She has graced many kitchens in Colorado in recent years. Proudly calling Colorado home since 2009, Annie brings her wealth of experience and passion to her newest venture, Achan Thai.
